STOP THE INDUSTRIAL WIND TURBINES
After receiving 250 objections to the weather mast Ecotricity have pulled the most cynical of dirty tricks…..they have withdrawn the application, thereby nullifying all of the objections, and are submitting a new application for a LARGER weather mast.
This means that we will all need to submit our objections again when the new application is submitted but this time we need to all encourage our friends and neighbours to object to show Ecotricity that we will not be worn down by their cynical tactics.
We also urge everyone to write to all of the political contacts listed. A number of politicians have already voiced their support for us but we need to maintain the momentum
More detailed information on how to do this can be found on this website under “Object – How & To Whom” including addresses of Councillors, MSPs etc.
As soon as the new application is submitted we will advise on how best to submit your objections.
Many thanks for your continued support in helping to stop these huge turbines appearing on our doorstep!
MASSIVE INDUSTRIAL WIND TURBINES ARE COMING DOWN OUT OF THE HILLS!
To date large scale industrial turbines in Perthshire have been kept to the high ground away from settlements. Not these! They are only 2.5 miles south west of Methven at Newmiln Farm, between Methven and Balgowan.
Four massive turbines, each 120 metres (400 feet) high, are being planned. To put this into perspective, that’s approaching the height of the towers on the Forth Road Bridge, 2 Scott Monuments or 28 double decker buses!
